Contacted directly by Ford Motor Company’s lead engineers in Detroit, Waterfield Design was hired to inspect and analyze existing site conditions at the company’s sprawling 150 acre glass plant located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Waterfield provided site analysis, boundary survey retracement, and site planning advice for Ford’s on-going re-use studies.
The ACH Plant in Nashville is also a division of the Carlite Corporation, one of the country’s leading suppliers of high tech industrial glass products. The ACH division in Nashville produced a large majority of all the Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) for windshields for Ford’s industry leading F-Series pick-up trucks and its popular Mustang vehicles.
